A fursona is a personal animal character - kind of like an avatar or alter ego. Lots of furries have one. Many don't. Both are completely normal.

Some people join the fandom and develop a fursona over time as they get more involved. Others never do and just enjoy the community, the art, the events, and the friendships. There's no checklist. There's no requirement.

If you're curious and you want to show up, you're already enough. Come say hi - no fursona required.
