What is an iCal Subscription?

Our events calendar supports iCal feeds - a standard format that lets you subscribe from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any calendar app. When we add or update events, your calendar updates automatically.

How to Subscribe

1. Go to the Events page.
2. Look for the iCal download/subscribe link next to the calendar you want (Official Meetups or Member Meetups).
3. Click the link - your device should offer to add it to your calendar app.
4. Choose Subscribe (not just import) so you get automatic updates.

Subscribing on Specific Devices

Google Calendar

1. Copy the iCal URL from the events page.
2. In Google Calendar, click the + next to "Other calendars" and select From URL.
3. Paste the URL and click Add calendar.

Apple Calendar (iPhone/Mac)

1. Tap the iCal link directly from Safari - it'll prompt you to add the subscription.
2. Or go to Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Add Account > Other > Add Subscribed Calendar and paste the URL.

Outlook

1. Copy the iCal URL.
2. Go to Add Calendar > Subscribe from web and paste the URL.
